Welcome to our MUSIC MINISTRY

Open to all Youth and Adult members of FBC, this group rehearses on Sunday afternoons at 5:30PM in the Building B/ Room 405.  The Choir helps lead worship during the 11:00AM traditional service every Sunday and sings at special events and programs throughout the year.  You do not have to know how to read music to be a part of the choir.  You only have to love the Lord and be willing to learn! 

Open to all Youth and Adult members of FBC, this group rehearses on Thursday evenings at 6:00PM in the Worship Center.  The Praise Team is made up of musicians and singers who lead worship during the 9:00AM contemporary service.  If you play keyboard (piano), guitar, bass guitar, or drum set and would like to join us, there is a place for you.  If you are a strong singer and are comfortable singing both lead and harmony, there is a place for you.  We are not limited to the number of people who can be a part of the Praise Team.  We would love to have so many people that we have to create multiple groups that lead on alternating Sundays!

This is a VITAL part of all of our services, programs, weddings, funerals, and special events that take place on the campus of FBC Barnwell.  This Ministry is in need of people who are willing to serve, even if it’s one Sunday a month.  Without this ministry, things that we take for granted do not happen.  Words do not show up on the screen, microphones won’t work, and recordings of the service will not be made for our shut-ins.  You do not have to already know what to do in order to be a part of this team, you just have to be willing to learn!

 This group’s primary mission is to serve the Student Ministry.  Open to all who attend the MERGE, including Youth and Adult leaders.  We only ask that you be willing to commit your time to rehearsals on Sunday afternoons at 12:30PM on the weeks the MERGE meet.
